Welcome to Slowtrain
Slowtrain is a family server. It runs out of our basement, connected to the internet via a DSL modem. When we first set it up on a regular modem, it didn't run too fast, hence the name, Slowtrain. (The name actually comes from a late-70's Bob Dylan album, Slowtrain Coming, which featured the lyrics, "ya gotta serve somebody"). These days it tends to run faster than before, but we liked the name and decided to keep it.
This site is a sandbox for us, constantly under construction, but some members of our family have been pretty industrious already. Try a few of these links
